OurStory Scotland

(1) to promote the welfare and relieve the needs of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender ("lgbt') community, which is recognised as a community subject to social exclusion, marginalisation and disadvantage; (2) to develop the capacity and skills of the members of the lgbt community in such a way that they are better able to identify, and help meet, their needs and to participate more fully in society; (3) to advance the education of the public in understanding the history, social conditions and needs of the lgbt community through research, archiving, publication and the arts.
