Gay and Lesbian Association of Doctors and Dentists

We have a wide range of members in the medical and dental professions - from students right up to professors - all specialities - right across the country. you may want to join us for help/support/advice or may simply want to support our work or make social contact with other lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender doctors and dentists. we hope you will want to join us. although the law has changed, both in terms of legal protection at work and in terms of civil partnerships there is still much to be done in terms of promoting a culture of acceptance of lgbt people within and by the medical and dental professions. although many of our members have not experienced any problems as a result of their sexual orientation, many have faced substantial challenges and it can be an isolated and lonely time. we hope to relieve some of that isolation and encourage members to learn from each others experiences.
