London LGBT Youth Council

Supporting the LGBT voluntary and community sector by helping create the next generation of community leaders

The London LGBT Youth Council is a project run for and by young LGBT people. Its aim is to support the development of a vibrant, engaged and participative LGBT youth community which works alongside the voluntary and community sector to influence the policies and practices which affect the lives of young LGBT people in London.

The role of The Consortium is to help develop and trial better ways of working with the LGBT Youth Community. We want to create and support a project that is LGBT youth-focussed and youth-led, but creates new and innovative ways of engaging with young people which can be used by the whole LGBT voluntary and community sector.
